With the experience of father’s retail shop from Mokama, Bihar, he had decided what to do at a very early age of 17. With bachelor’s degree in the financial field, he jumped into his clothing business, merely with his bare imaginations. After gaining a good understanding of saree business in a short time, he picked up an opportunity to explore the market of Synthetic Silk Sarees with his job experience. Rakesh Agrawal’s’ inclination towards technology brought him to YouTube highlights with his business in a short span of time.

Pre-dominated Surat Textile Market was already over-crowded in 2012. In this cluttered market scenario, Big Thinking with Small Calculations did work out for Rakesh Agrawal and thus Keshav Madhav Fashion was born in 2012.  Keshav Madhav Fashion is a leading online B2B Brand in Surat’s artificial silk sarees business now.

He is not only a visionary businessman but also a true motivator cum social entrepreneur and seems committed to the development of underprivileged textile entrepreneurs.

He has spent almost 10 years with small and medium-class garment traders to get them better business. “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas are vital for the achievement of our goals”. He is true follower of Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi  & believes until and unless A small trader will not settled down his saree shop in some part of country, I will not grow and I will not reach to volume which I want to achieve. Rakesh has made commendable contribution in changing the direction and condition of business of Small Saree Traders across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

“I never challenged the Orthodox Textile Chain System. I was forced to see beyond it and the growth of Small shop owners & traders across Bihar. I had to deliver my product to small and medium traders without disrupting the value system of this wholesale line and that too with reasonable price and quality without resorting to any solutions.” He further adds. 

“Success is not an accident. It is the result of your attitude and your attitude is a choice.” He quotes Shiv Khera. It took a while but Small saree sellers looked at my products through my YouTube Channel and finally, they did successful business trials with my products in their respective regions.

Everyone gets Quality products in Right Price and at the last stage, the end-user or customer is also satisfied and goes home with the feeling of having saved some money”. Rakesh Agarwal gets a bit emotional while telling.

“My Digital Business model is little different and caters to middle-class shop owners who are trying to survive post-pandemic. They find value in my printed sarees and they enjoy selling my synthetic silk sarees in their region with noticeable profit margins.”

Recently, he was honored with Global Fame Awards by Bollywood actor Sonu Sood for his unique efforts and soulful entrepreneurial support skills. Probably, he is only businessman offering extensive support and encouragement to other small businessmen to stay with Textile business.

“During Covid, many of the textile entrepreneurs shut their businesses due to various reasons.” “Yes, Competition is high in Retail Textile Business in 2023 but you as businessmen must know the formula to survive.” explains Rakesh Agrawal.

“We loose the trade volume of several thousand small vendors, if they are ignored” knowing that we took the support of Digital mediums and started educating them micro business, [specially womenswear segment] practices in Textile Business on YOUTUBE.

Basic needs will never end in Countries like India. Textile is evergreen business of small-scale traders & shop owners. Eventually, this whole business chain will get value-added things on regular basis until people like Rakesh Agrawal, will keep on motivating small textile shop owners.
