Chennai, (Tamil Nadu) [India], July 21 2025: Dr. Varshini Murugan, a practicing doctor and professional fashion model, and a graduate of the prestigious Stanley Medical College and Hospital, is all set to represent Tamil Nadu at the grand finale of Miss Universe India 2025 this August, organized by Glamanand Supermodel India.
At a recent press meet in Chennai, Dr. Varshini, along with Tamil Nadu State Director Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth, shared her inspiring journey and her pride in representing the vibrant culture and diversity of Tamil Nadu on a national stage.
“Miss Universe India is a celebration of diversity, ambition, and purpose,” said Dr. Varshini. She emphasized how pageantry today embraces women from all walks of life, reflecting true representation.
Her advocacy project, Project Ameya, is close to her heart and focuses on cancer awareness, especially early diagnosis and intervention among children through school and community-level initiatives.
Confident and committed, she concluded, “I’m here as a voice for those who deserve visibility, love, and hope.”
