Culinary Guru Launches Exciting Weekend Cooking Camp for Kids

Hyderabad, (Telangana) [India], October 16, 2024: A local culinary school in Hyderabad, Culinary Guru, is preparing to host a new Weekend Kids Cooking Camp. Starting November 2, 2024, and running every Saturday until January 11, 2025, young chefs aged 6 to 15 can join in the kitchen to learn how to cook some delicious and nutritious meals.

The camp intends to teach kids about cooking in a safe and enjoyable way. Children will learn to make various dishes, including basic cooking techniques, salads and mocktails, and baking and pastry items.

Chef Srinubabu Dhulipalla and Kalyan Kumar Pinjala, childhood friends who started Culinary Guru in 2018, want to help kids develop a love for cooking. “We believe cooking is an important skill that can help children in many ways,” says Chef Srinubabu. “We want to get them interested in the kitchen and help them learn about healthy eating from a young age.”

From sweet treats like cookies, cakes, waffles, brownies, and panna cotta to healthy options like kale and avocado salad, green salads, and Greek salad, the camp offers a range of culinary experiences for young aspiring chefs.

It teaches kids about different flavours, how to make food look good on the plate, and even the science behind cooking. Encouraging them to be creative and develop their own cooking style rather than simply following recipes.

Chef Srinubabu adds, “We’ve noticed that many children in India don’t get enough hands-on experience. Our cooking camp lets them touch, smell, and taste as they learn, which helps them understand things better.”

The camp is also suitable for families where both parents are working. By teaching kids to cook, Culinary Guru helps them become more independent and encourages them to develop healthier eating habits at home.

This camp has been accredited by CGIHM Culinary Guru Institute of Hotel Management, making it a good starting point for children who might want to pursue a culinary career later on.

But it’s not just for kids – Culinary Guru also offers culinary training to home cooks, budding chefs, food entrepreneurs, professional chefs and health professionals. Whether one prefers in-person instruction at their campus or the flexibility of online courses, it offers a variety of programs to help them become a culinary master.

To keep things exciting, this cooking school organises food festivals and have an inclusive approach, welcoming students of all ages. Even celebrity chefs make appearances, sharing their expertise and inspiring aspiring cooks.

With this new camp, Culinary Guru is helping to create a new generation of food lovers in India, teaching them about their culinary heritage while also introducing them to dishes from around the world.
