Go Somewhere Camping at The Hills Festival Meghalaya – Enrich to Enliven

Go Somewhere the Official Camping partners of The Hills Festival Meghalaya is all set to hold a Unique Glamping experience on the Festival Grounds. These include the Official Festival DJ After Party, Musical activities and games such as Slacking, LIVE karaoke bar, Bonfire with Live Chefs and Live Music.

From International, and national to homegrown favourites – Bloodywood, Taba Chake, Yung Raja, Hanumankind, Featherheads, Trance Effect, DBryn, and Da Minot to create magic in the upper echelons of Meghalaya.

“We want to create a space where people can escape from their bustling lifestyles and get lost into the idyllic synchronicity of life. The can enjoy Live Music, Tribal Art, Ethnic Food and soak into the local culture by joining in the festivities over a 2 day period of autumn in November at Shillong”, quoting Sahil Majaw, Owner and Promoter of The Hills Festival, Meghalaya.

The festival officials have just shared a sneak peek into their spectacular artist line-up for this year’s festival to be held on November 4 & 5 in the stunning locales of Meghalaya’s Umbir village and Umiam lake.

Besides music, the lineup this year also comes with extraordinary culinary surprises. The team at The Hills Festival has announced ‘The Forage Aisle’ featuring famous Indian Chef Thomas Zacharias aka Chef TZac. The Forage Aisle is a special layout of indigenous forage and the local wild edibles from Meghalaya, that will host a culinary exchange between Chef TZac and local chefs. The chefs will come together and share stories and ideas while curating interesting dishes along the way.

That’s not all, there will also be ‘The Pig-Out Affair’ – a community cook-out producing pork dishes distinct from their tradition and culture. In any outdoor feasting in the state, pork is one dish that is symbolic of a community celebration. The Pig-Out Affair is much more than just a platter of pork dishes but a get-together of communities, instilling a sense of belonging through food.

Tickets available at Book My Show.
