Karcher India Looks to double its production capacity in India

New Delhi: Karcher India, a subsidiary of Kärcher GMBH, which is headquartered in Germany is the world’s leading provider of cleaning technology is planning in recent future to double its production capacity in India.

Speaking to a select group of media in Delhi, Axel Stolz, Executive Vice-President – Sales Export, Karcher said that the company will be doubling its production capacity at the Combatore facility, which is predominantly a professional equipment manufacturing facility currently, to manufacture more and more consumer-oriented machines as well. Currently, bulk of the consumer machines are manufactured in the factory in China, he said.

Adding to the conversation, Mr. Jatinder Kaul, Managing Director, Karcher India mentioned, “We have taken a step towards this localisation through our joint venture which manufactures solutions both for the global and domestic markets. Of the total production 50 per cent is for the global market, and the remaining is for domestic consumption,” Further adding, “We are considering expansion of the joint venture besides the option of having our manufacturing unit. Our partners from the global team are evaluating these options as well.”

Kärcher India presently has an employee strength of 300 dotted across 14 branch offices and has a wide network of dealers and service centers across the country. The company has been present in India since 2011 and has a wide range of cleaning solutions for both domestic and industrial use. The company offers a wide range of products such as high-pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, etc. Kärcher India also has a strong focus on providing after-sales service and support to its customers.

Recently Karcher India participated at Asia’s biggest food and hospitality exhibition – AHAAR 2023 at Pragati Maidan and at Auto Expo 2023: Components – Asia’s largest Auto show with over 800+ participants, and phenomenal exposure to the industry and the world of exhibitions!

Moreover, recently, Karcher looking at the market needs has also launched the rental solutions model for its customers, which provides its equipment at a low capital investment. Furthermore, Kärcher introduced a complete solar panel cleaning solutions in India, introducing its PV panel-cleaning solutions focusing on the pain points of the Indian solar sector. The range includes high-pressure cleaners, water-driven disc brushes, cleaning detergents, and even safety gear for operation and maintenance professionals.
