Krishiyug Inovatives Pvt. Ltd.: Where Ancient Farming Wisdom Meets Rural Empowerment

Bilaspur, (Chhattisgarh) [India] 14th May, 2025: In a world increasingly driven by industrial farming and chemical-laden produce, one man turned to the soil, not to exploit it, but to heal it—and in the process, began a movement. Tarun Sahu, an organic farmer from Lohadia village in Chhattisgarh, is the visionary behind Krishiyug Inovatives Pvt. Ltd., a company that’s changing how India grows, eats, and empowers.

Founded on February 3, 2022, TM Krishiyug Inovatives began as a small initiative grounded in Tarun’s passion for sustainable agriculture. By 2024, it had grown into a robust ecosystem, directly impacting over 5,000 tribal farmers, 40+ Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and 80+ women-led Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across Chhattisgarh and adjoining states. His own 60-acre farm is a testament to this vision, where over 100 indigenous rice varieties, along with ancient strains of wheat and pulses, are cultivated without a single chemical input.

The results speak volumes. Not only have local farmers seen a 30–40% increase in net income, but consumer demand for Krishiyug’s chemical-free, millet-based products has grown rapidly, especially among urban health-conscious families and organic retailers.

In 2024, the company reached a major milestone: it was invited to showcase its innovative range of traditional, eco-friendly products at the World Trade Fair—one of the most prestigious global platforms for trade and sustainability. Krishiyug stood proudly as a representative of India’s rich agricultural heritage, presenting products like premium aromatic Rice, millets, cold pressed oil and Jaggery each chemically free and organic.

But Krishiyug is not just about products—it’s about principles. The company’s farm-to-product traceability model ensures that every purchase uplifts a farmer, every sale supports a local economy, and every bite honors India’s ancient agricultural wisdom. Unlike many agri-brands, Krishiyug bypasses middlemen entirely, giving farmers 100% direct market access, ensuring transparency and fairness at every stage.

This year’s press conference marks a new chapter. As Krishiyug prepares to scale operations, expand its product line, and strengthen rural entrepreneurship, Tarun Sahu invites retailers, distributors, NGOs, and conscious consumers to be part of a larger vision: an India where food is pure, farmers are empowered, and sustainability is the norm, not the exception.

Because at Krishiyug, tradition isn’t a thing of the past—it’s the future we’re growing, one seed at a time.
