As Valentine’s Day approaches and you find yourself without plans for your special date, we got you covered! Here are two easy-to-make recipes to help you create a memorable morning filled with romance and indulgence:
1. Heartfelt Chocolate-Infused Valentine’s Day Breakfast – Thakur Sisters
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread
- Heart-shaped cookie cutter
- Butter
- 2 eggs
- Oregano
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Lindt chocolate bar
- Additional Lindt chocolates for serving
Instructions:
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out hearts in the center of the two slices of bread.
- In a pan over medium heat, add a generous amount of butter.
- Once the butter is melted, carefully place the heart-shaped bread slices into the pan.
- Crack two eggs directly into the center of the heart-shaped cutouts in the bread.
- Sprinkle oregano, salt, and black pepper over the eggs to add flavor.
- Open a Lindt chocolate bar and cut it in half. Place each half between the heart-shaped bread cutouts, ensuring that the chocolate is evenly distributed.
- Allow the bread to toast in the pan until the chocolate starts to melt, and the eggs are cooked to your liking.
- Carefully flip the bread slices to ensure both sides are evenly toasted and the chocolate is melted.
- Once the eggs are cooked and the chocolate is melted, remove the heart-shaped creation from the pan.
- Serve on a plate and garnish with additional Lindt chocolates for an extra sweet touch.
2. Yummy in the Tummy Valentine’s Day LunchBox – Fun2oosh Food
Ingredients
- ½ cup Glutinous Rice Flour
- Salt to Taste
- ½ cup Water
- 1+1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
- ¼ th cup Water
- 1 tbsp Gochujang
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Soya Sauce
- 1 tsp Gochugaru
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- Some Sesame Seeds & Spring Onion for Garnish
- ¼ cup Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions :
For Tteokbokki Recipe:
- Firstly take a kadai and add ½ cup water, salt & oil and let it come to a boil
- Now add ½ cup rice flour and start mixing(you have to mix continuously for around a minute)
- Turn off the flame and let the mixture come to room temperature
- Knead it to a smooth dough(it will take around 5-6 minutes and feel free to add little oil)
- Roll it and cut heart shape with a cookie cutter
- Steam the cute heart Tteokbokki for 10-12 minutes on medium flame
- Transfer these in ice cold water
For sweet & spicy sauce for that take a kadai
- Add 1 tbsp Oil, garlic and fry for some seconds
- Add ¼ th cup water, gochuganj, sesame oil, soya sauce, sugar, Gochugaru and let the mixture shimmer on low flame
- Add prepared Tteokbokki and let it cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame
- Finally add mozzarella cheese, sesame seeds and spring onion and fill the lunch box with it & Voila Your Valentine’s Day Special Lunch Box is Ready.
