“Between who she was and who she became, she found poetry.” These are not just words but the living testament of Richa Dev’s own journey captured in her debut poetry collection “The Girl Who Lived Between Chapters”. From the moment she first put pen to paper, Richa’s life has been an unfolding chapter of adventures, love, and the quiet chaos of finding herself.
Richa Dev offers readers a slice of her multifaceted life with a dose of authenticity that is both refreshing and inspiring. Born into a naval family in Dehradun, India, her early life was a tapestry of disciplined adventures. Her sense of identity started to take shape in the skies as a flight attendant with IndiGo Airlines. But love wore olive green, leading her to the rich, unpredictable texture of life in the Army—a journey that has taken her through the dynamics of marriage, motherhood, and every adventure along the way.
Her book, “The Girl Who Lived Between Chapters”, is not just a collection of poems; it’s an invitation into the intimate corridors of her heart. Through verses that flow with honesty, Richa explores the dynamic landscape of a woman’s journey—love, relationships, motherhood, and the silent yet profound process of self-discovery. It is this universal theme of transformation, laced with personal memories, that renders her work deeply resonant.
As readers navigate Richa’s poetic world, they will find themselves reflecting on their own lives. In a time when people seek connection and understanding, Richa’s poetry serves as a gentle reminder that every chapter, including the uncertain spaces in between, holds its own significance. Her poems are a balm for anyone who has ever felt caught between the past and the future, offering solace in shared stories and kindred feelings.
Richa Dev’s literary debut is more than just a book release; it is a heartfelt celebration of becoming, and a loving nod to the little girl who never stopped writing more stories.
