Multidisciplinary International Conference Organized at Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune

Pune (Maharashtra) [India]: Ness Wadia College of Commerce recently organised a Multidisciplinary International Conference in memory of the late Principal Dr. B. S. Bhanage. The conference, themed ‘From Policy to Practice – NEP 2020 through Sports, Innovation, and Business,’ was held at the college’s Neville Hall in a hybrid format (both physical and virtual). This year marked the 27th edition of the annual seminar/conference held in honour of the late former Principal Dr. B. S. Bhanage. In her address, Principal Dr. Vrushali Randhir stated that the primary objective of the conference is to promote education, research, and innovation, while providing a platform for professors, researchers, and students to showcase their scholarly work.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. S. N. Pathan (Former Vice-Chancellor, Nagpur University), Dr. Naresh Bodke (Gokhale Institute), Export-Import expert Sudhir Chitrager, Dr. M. D. Lawrence (Abeda Inamdar College), and Savio Vigas (Head of Physical Education, Ahmednagar College). Dr. Pathan advised students to focus on innovative ideas and skill development, while Dr. Bodke provided guidance on the intricacies of budgeting in business. Mr. Sudhir Chitrager shared insights into the economic aspects and entry procedures of the import-export trade.

Professors, researchers, industry representatives, and students from India and abroad presented research papers on diverse topics including NEP 2020, sports, innovation, entrepreneurship, evolving business landscapes, digital technology, agribusiness, and global trade. Selected research papers will be published in the college’s official ‘Business’ magazine.
