T.M. Patel International School celebrates World Environment Day by planting over 200 trees

Surat (Gujarat) [India]: On the occasion of World Environment Day (5th June 2024), T.M. Patel International School, Surat, run by Saraswati Education Trust, in collaboration with Green Army Organization, initiated a tree plantation activity at Vesu by planting over 200 trees with a commitment to plant over 2000 trees.

School Trustee Mr. Harish Patel said that the aim of the event was to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices, highlighting the importance of trees in combating climate change and enhancing ecological balance. It reflects the commitment of the school fraternity towards environmental conservation.

On the occasion, the school Trustee Mr. Harish Patel, Director K. Maxwell Manohar, management members, administrative staff, teachers and a large number of students and volunteers enthusiastically participated in planting hundreds of saplings around the school and Vesu area.
