TLSU carries out 2nd skill enhancement training for employees of Deepak Nitrite Ltd

Vadodara (Gujarat) [India]: TeamLease Skills University (TLSU), India’s First Skills University, launched a Skills Enhancement Training programme for the employees of Deepak Nitrite Ltd. (DNL) at Nandesari, Gujarat on December 13, 2022.

The training is being carried out under the University’s Centre for Industry and Knowledge Partnerships (CIKP) in collaboration with the Department of Mechatronics. The programme is part of Kaushalya, an initiative of DNL to provide skills training to its experienced employees. Earlier TLSU had completed a similar training programme successfully for employees of DNL and DPL at the Dahej plant.

Dr Rajiv Kurulkar, Corporate L&D, Mahesh Phadke, Corporate HR, Prabod Kumar, Head HR Nandesari Plant, Jaymin Raval, Engineering Head, Rutvi Pandya & Huzef Patel from DNL remained present during the inauguration of the training.

On the occasion, Dr Avani Umatt, TLSU Provost, and Coordinator of CIKP spoke on the importance of adult learning in the skills domain. She highlighted the need for life long learning and constant upskilling to remain relevant at the job place. Mr Dishank Upadhyay, Head of Mechatronics Department and Training Coordinator shared the highlights of the programme on the occasion.
