Shri Pashupati Kumar Paras, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, and President RLJP addressed the party’s Tamil Nadu state and district level executive meeting held in Chennai

Honorable Pashupati Kumar Paras, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries and President of Rashtriya Lok Janashakti Party (RLJP) addressed the party’s Tamil Nadu state and district level executive meeting held at VGP Convention Hall, East Coast Road, Chennai.

Later, Mr. Pashupati Kumar Paras also attended and addressed the conference of RLJP held at EVP Rajeshwari Wedding Hall in Poonamalli. Earlier, he was given a rousing welcome by the party’s National General Secretary Mr. G V Manimaran, Tamil Nadu State President Mr A P Sasikumar, and leading leaders of the RLJP.

The party is playing an important role in the struggle against caste discrimination, rescue of Tamil Nadu fishermen, settlement of controversies and disputes among Bihar workers, and much more. National General Secretary Mr. G V Manimaran and State President Mr. A P Sasikumar are working tirelessly to make RLJP a strong political force in Tamil Nadu.

Mr. Pashupati Kumar Paras is the younger brother of late Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan. Paswan was a great leader who represented the politics of social justice in India. Mr Paswan was instrumental in implementing the Mandal Commission report on reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC) during the V P Singh government. Despite Mr. Paswan’s passing away on October 8, 2020, he continues to lead the party in the struggle for social justice. With a strong base in Bihar, the RLJP is growing strongly in states like Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
